  1. I'm always sad to say that I'm not surprised when immigration fees go up. It's like when pharm companies raise prices of life saving drugs. They can do it because the product market is so inelastic - demand for immigration into the US will never go down because fees go up. Take for example the eb-5 visa program - even this high price program is saturated with investors (buyers, in the economic example).
